David Kollar is a Slovak musician, improviser, composer of the scenic and film music ranking among the most significant figures of this record label. His projects involve music artists from all over the world (Pat Mastelotta, Arve Henriksen, Erik Truffaz, Trey Gunn, Steven Wilson, Christan Fennesz, Eivind Aarset, and others) and made a distinctive impression internationally. Motivated by the close contacts and artistic and human affinity between him and his partners in art David Kollar entered into talks and conversations about the state of the world today and mainly of the music industry. His discussions turned into a book of conversations entitled as About Music and Era (O hudbe a dobe) which is going to be introduced at the final concert of JazzBus showcase this year. Prior to the book launch David will do quite a chamber solo-acoustic gig.
