The Czechoslovak chamber duo consisting of pianist Zuzana Berešová and violinist Pavel Burdych have so far recorded an album of compositions by Antonín Dvořák and Eugen Suchoň for Hevhetia. This year it is no less than two album releases. Album Son of the Homeland composed by Béla Kéler is to be premiered at the festival. Béla Kéler is a composer whose pieces are among the most played music in the world, yet he is to be discovered by the general musical audience. Hardly any violin virtuoso wherever in the world would dare not to add the famous Hungarian Dance No. 5 by Johannes Brahms as a final bonus to their concert. Still just few people know that the actual author of the hit piece is Béla Kéler, native of Šariš. In addition to the said album, the festival will also premiere a videoclip of composition Tribute to Bardejov.
The upcoming album release to see the light of day on CD before the end of this year is the music composed by Krzysztof Penderecki and Eugen Suchoň.
