Workshop: Ania Rybacka – The Art of Thriving in the Life of Musician – Studio 5

Practical tools from a therapist working with musicians, for building a life with vitality, well-being and mental strength. Ania Rybacka is a musician and a psychologist specialized in issues commonly encountered by musicians. For over 20 years she’s been working with musicians, artists and dancers on stage, observing the culture and mechanisms of their professions. In 2010 she finished her Master thesis in psychology on mental health among jazz musicians in Poland, and has since been helping artists all around the world, with a main focus on motivation, creativity, self-esteem and general well-being. She has a second Master’s degree in music performance from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Denmark, and works both as a musician and a therapist in her clinic in Copenhagen. The workshop is addressed to anybody interested in learning about the mechanisms behind common challenges of the musical profession, and aims to provide practical advice for taking care of one’s mental well-being.
