ShowCase

The first showcase band that introduced itself to the professional and lay public was the Polish group MÓW.

The Košice audience was also reminded of the Polish pianist Paweł Kaczmarczyk, who has released several of his albums in the past at the Hevhetia publishing house. This time he did not own the podium, but he met his supporters, presented his work and there were also signatures.

The Hevhetia Showcase program has also been enriched by the Jazz World Photo – photo exhibition, which is open to visitors to the Kasárne/Kulturpark throughout the month of August.

Israeli reviewer and critic Adam Baruch also contributed his theme to the festival program. His lecture focused on the role of music criticism in the digital world.

Magazine :HUDBA (MUSIC) has an integral position in the life of Hevhetia. It is not published at the moment, but the link is still strong. In the pavilion November, temporary ~ HEVHETIAntik pavilion, the creators of the defunct periodical met with its supporters. Those who did not appear in person connected with a large audience via an Internet live stream.

Jozef Kovalčik, director of the Slovak Arts Council, and his colleagues gave a lecture, as well as an extensive discussion, on the topic ‘What is the support of music from the state good for?’

The day should start properly. With the Breakfast. So we fed all the participants of this year’s Hevhetia ShowCase with music, information and a delicious breakfast.
